Systagenix TIELLE Hydropolymer Lite Adhesive Foam Dressing With LiquaLock® technology incorporates a non-adherent wound contact layer that allows the free passage of exudate and minimizes adherence to the wound bed or sutures/staples. This adhesive bordered foam dressing designed for patients with wounds which are low to non-exuding and bleeding wounds, such as surgical, traumatic and post-operative.
- Systagenix TIELLE™ Hydropolymer Lite Adhesive Foam Dressing With LiquaLock® technology is skin-friendly designed to facilitate atraumatic removal
- Comfortable, easy and normally pain-free dressing removal
- The flexible and conformable polyurethane backing1 facilitates dressing application and use on joints
- It also provides a bacterial barrier
- The shower-proof vapor-permeable backing protects against external contamination
- May be worn for up to 7 days depending on the amount of exudate
- Composed of 3 layers, a non-adherent wound contacts layer, hydro polymer foam, and polyurethane backing
- The island dressing is absorbent and provides a moist environment suitable for low to non-exuding wounds
- The non-adherent wound contact layer protects the wound bed while allowing the free passage of exudate
- It is designed not to adhere to the wound, even in the presence of blood, which facilitates granulation and epithelialization to proceed without disruption at dressing changes -
The unique adhesive allows:
- Repositioning on initial application
- Dressing flexibility to conform to difficult-to-dress areas
- Skin-friendly removal, with sterile water technique
- Can be used as both a primary and a secondary dressing -
Indications:
- Partial thickness wounds
- Low to non-exuding and bleeding wounds, such as surgical and traumatic wounds
- Superficial pressure ulcers
- Epithelialising leg ulcers (e.g., venous, arterial and mixed aetiology)
- Diabetic ulcers
- Donor sites -
How LiquaLock® Technology works:
- During absorption and expansion fluids fills the hydro polymer cells
- Fluid is then transferred to the cell walls
- Fluid is locked away under normal conditions of use, movement, and pressure
